Kera walked into the room, wearing her Wheatley Laboratories jumpsuit and her long fall boots. "He-hello?" she called softly, wondering if there was anyone there. She wondered aloud, "Where am I?"

[Evil Wheatley]

*a light flickers on, the sound of machinery warming up is heard*
*the room starts to come to life*

Kera looks around, frightened. She backs up a small bit, and watches the machinery whirr and move around. Her eyes widen and she backs against the wall of the room, behind one of the tubes of gel that is there.

[Evil Wheatley]

*a faint yawn is heard*
*a man in a blue suit with blonde hair walks in, adjusting his glasses*
"man, I tell ya, it feels like I've been asleep for years...*stretches again*"
*looks around the room*
"hello? is anyone there?"

Kera is till hiding behind the gel tube, wondering what to say. She doesn't know who this man is, for she had only signed up because GLaDOS had kicked all her test subjects out and deactivated herself.
"Y-yes?" she comes halfway into the light, looking at him shyly.

[Evil Wheatley]

*squints his eyes*
"sorry, one moment.." *snaps his fingers, the rooms lighting is completely restored*
"ah...much better...sorry about all that...I-*pauses* wait, are you new here?" *seems genuinely curious*

[keraskywalker]

"Y-yes sir. I-I came from Aperture and couldn't get adjusted to society, so I signed up here." she said, her heart beating because she is starting to think she is in a place she shouldn't be.

[Evil Wheatley]

*smiles warmly* "well then.....welcome to Wheatley Laboratories!"
*holds out his hand in welcome*
"I'm Wheatley, yourself?"

Kera looks shocked. "Oh, well then you must own the place. I'm Kera." she smiles sweetly and shakes his hand. "I don't think I am allowed in here, am I?"

[Evil Wheatley]

"weeeell...*looks around casually* given you appear to have not forced your entry, I guess you're allowed "*smiles slightly* "so, what brings you to the lower levels of wheatley laboratories?"

[keraskywalker]

Kera stepped more into the light, her raven hair shining. "I was wandering around since there was no voice telling me to test, no turrets, no gels, no nothing. So I wandered around wondering if it was deserted." She blushed slightly, embarrassed that she had assumed that there was no one there.

[Evil Wheatley]

*listens to what she has to say, his brow furrows slightly*
"Odd..I didn't think they'd all be so hidden when I told them today's their day off...*seems slightly embarrassed* well, I could help you get into the swing of things if you wanted..."

[keraskywalker]

Kera smiled. "O-oh yes, thank you."

[Evil Wheatley]

*smiles* "no need to thank me, just doing my job" *looks her over* "I see you have your long fall boots and jumpsuit....are you missing your portal gun?"

[keraskywalker]

Kera smiled. "no, got it right here." She shot a portal playfully underneth him and one nearby.
