Waking Up In A New World

My eyes flickered, and I look around. Where am I....? I thought, rubbing my head as I sat up from my bed. It seemed like a regular room, accept it was oddly dark with only a few lights shining from the windows.

I stood, looking around curiously. "Hm..." I scratched my head. "Anyone here?" I shouted, hoping someone would hear me and fill me in on the situation I found myself in.

*a computerized voice comes across the intercom*
"h-hello? if you're still alive in there, we're sending someone to collect you and bring you back up to speed, please remain where you are, thank-you!"

I blinked, confused as heck. Where am I? And who was that? I leaned against the wall, looking around. The room I was in seemed old and unused, as if I had been here for a long time? How could I however, if I had no idea what was going on.

I rubbed my forehead and groaned. The only thing I could do was wait for.... whoever was coming. This made me anxious. "Ok," I murmured, "I don't like this.... but I guess I'll have to deal with it for now..."

I stared up at the wall, thinking quietly to myself as I waited for someone to come.

*a knock is heard at the door*

"Hm...?" I wonder who that was...? I ran a hand through my hair and walked to the door. "H-hello?" I was still unsure about this all. In any case, it was nice to know I didn't have to wait anymore. I opened the door, staring at the thing waiting there.

I'm hopping up and down behind the thing, trying to get a better look.

I walked down the catwalk, humming quietly to myself. I decided that, instead of waiting, I'd go out and find someone by myself. I stop at the sight of someone.
"Hm? Hello?"
