Maybe. Then there's other funny things you can do. Messing around with the Portal 2 Authoring Tools, for instance. Don't remember if I had to recompile in Hammer map editor or if it ran fine on its own, but I managed to load a Portal 1 map into Portal 2. It was pretty messed up and crashed soon after.
In Portal 2 I managed to engage in some rather epic game-breaking with cheats. One of the funniest examples was using noclip to grab the frankenturret and tossing it onto the rigged faith plate instead of jumping on it yourself. Everyone starts talking as though you actually did and the Chapter 9 header even comes up. Then if you jump on it yourself it repeats.
Another time I managed to get stuck in the floor during the moon portal, and for some reason I never got teleported to the elevator at the end. Wheatley just randomly reappears on the mainframe.

Woah. Cool, I wish I had it now so I could try that frankenturret one.

Haha. Outside of any of Wheatley's chambers (Chapter 8) you'll actually find him in a box outside the main map. That's where the animations for the TV screens come from.

Heres a suggestion if its possible. Get a prepaid credit card for maybe $10 and keep it on you. There's quite often sales on Steam and you might be able to snatch a copy then.

I'll see. Or I can convince my mom to buy it for me, as an early birthday present.

I first got Portal on Steam during a special and it was something like $3. I liked it so much I went and bought the sequel (it cost more, though) and got almost instantly obsessed and that's never happened before.

Yeah, I remember playing the demo of Portal and liking it, followed by my brother's friend lending it to us. I played it and fell in love, although I was pissed at Wheatley for what he did. I then found it in my heart to forgive him and became a fangirl.

I spent most of Chapter 9 alternatingly wanting to punch Wheatley in the face ... well, optic, then wanting to rip him from the chassis to hug him.

I remember I really liked Wheatley, and I felt like crying and punching him when he betrayed me. It was a very melodramatic response, really.
