Welcome to the Testing Track

[Jo/Shira]

Jo quickly shot a blue portal at the wall, before falling through the orange one and out of the one on the wall.
"Hey," she said. "I was wondering where the others were." she deftly pulled a hairband off of her wrist and tied back her dark hair, somehow managing to do so with one hand. "I could probably be halfway through the chambers by now if it wasn't a group test."

"I noticed that no one was around..." Savannah said nervously. "The facility's gone quiet."
She wiped a bit of dust off her jumpsuit and grinned. "I guess we should start?"

[Jo/Shira]

"Guess so." JO stuck out her hand. "I'm Jo, by the way."

"Savannah." She shook Jo's hand.

[Jo/Shira]

(please note that do to the mechanical-portal gun arm, JO was shaking Svannah's with her left hand)
Jo waited a moment for the door to open then walked down the stairs.

Savannah followed after. She seemed very excited at the thought of testing.

((have you played Portal 1? I'll describe the chamber anyway))
at the bottom of the stairs tehre was a short hallway with a ledge on one side to high to jump and a plastic white frame opposite it. above that was a glass window, and at the end of the hall was a camera. Jo looked at the camera for a moment, as though pondering what to do about it, then gave it a thumbs up and held up two fingers. After that she shrugged, as though saying she had no idea. SHe didn't know whethere the cameras had audio, but she did know that they had eyes.

"They would want to monitor everything..." Savannah figured. She shivered at the thought of someone hearing her sing as she walked through the facility.

[Jo/Shira]

"'Course they want to montier everything. They're APerture. " SHe paused. "I meanb, they're WHeatley. well not WHeatley, but-" SHe sighed. "you know what I mean. " all of a sudden a blue portal opened up in the frame revealing a ledge and she grinned. "When She was in charge I used to shoot the cameras. "

Savannah raised an eyebrow and gave Jo a questioning look. "Mr. Wheatley wasn't always in charge?"

[Jo/Shira]

Jo shook her head as she stepped through the portal onto the ledge. "Far from it. back in the 1980s there was a guy named Cave Johnson in charge. when he died there was a woman, Caroline. after that the AIs started running the place. the first one was a female AI, GLaDOS. That's usually who people mean when they say SHe." Seeing the portal gun on the dais in the center of the room just off the ledge she snorted. "that's too easy. there's a catch."

Savannah peered over her shoulder. "Oh. Was was GLaDOS like?"

[Jo/Shira]

"She was..." JO paused, struggling for the right word. "Strict." she said at last. SHe glanced around the room, looking for holes where spikes might pop out or turrets or anything. Cautiously, she approached the dais.

Savannah stayed behind, glancing around nervously.
