After a few minuites, Apollo shifted uneasily. Then he looked down under the desk.
"Look..... I don't know your name, so I'll just call you 'girl.' But look, girl, I don't know what happened to you to make you all jumpy like this but I can pretty much assume it wasn't good, and I've got a feeling, up here," he tapped his head, "that you were hurt at some point. But believe me on this, I wouldn't hurt you. Heck, I won't even touch you if that's what's bothering you. But anyways, leave that stuff for another day, all we know is that your friend is in trouble because he's worried 'bout you. And it's my girlfriend goin' after him. So I'm going to help. And I think you'd feel a lot better 'bout yourself if you came along to help instead of just hiding under there."
He got to his feet. "I'll be going straight down the hall and following the yellow arrows." He then left, and was slightly pleased when a few minutes later he heard a pair of footsteps following.
(I assume Savannah got ahead aways. This scene I had in my head a little while.)

Several people were enjoying themselves, including Nikola himself. He knew that he'd get in trouble once Gladys found them, but at the moment, he didn't care.
