(Aaaand here we go!)
Lillian looked from her map to the buildings around her and back again. She could’ve sworn she’d followed the thing exactly, but somehow, none of the street numbers lined up; frankly, she hadn’t seen a street sign for the last hour and a half. The young woman rubbed her neck, wondering if she oughtn’t just call…but Cornflower would never let her live it down if she had to ask her younger siblings to come pick her up. With a sigh, Lily rolled her collar up to keep the heart in, and looked around for someone to ask directions from.

Meanwhile....
A.M. sat on a bench, shivering in her thin denim vest, over a thin cotton, purple and pink shirt, which actually used to be part of a pair of pyjamas.. It wasn't the most suitable thing to be wearing outside in this type of weather, but with .... things the way they were, she didn't have much of a choice.

Lillian saw a somewhat tall and fairly sturdily-built woman with blonde hair sitting on a nearby bench, waiting for a bus. By the woman was another, younger woman, who was shorter and thinner, with freckles and light brown hair.

She sighed, relieved, and hurried over to the two. "Excuse me, sorry to bother you, but do you know where East Park Avenue is? I'm a little lost."
(Out of curiosity, am I doing Pendleton in this, or are you?)

(You can. I usually do A.M. and Apollo.)

The freckled woman jumped, startled. The blonde one looked up from the book she was reading. "Hm? Oh, East Park Avenue," she said. She had a rather thick southern accent. "Ah'm pretty sure it's 'round here..." "I-it's down the street," the brunette motioned in a direction.

"Thank you," she started off in the direction the brunette had pointed, then hesitated. "Um...I don't suppose you could tell me where Cordelia and Timothy Young live, could you? It'd be easier than checking every address on the street, I'm sure..."
A slightly scrawny looking man in an impeccable brown suit walked up. He wore glasses that seemed a little big for his face, had a nose that did nothing to hold them there, and there was an umbrella over his head, despite the fact it wasn't raining. He paused, giving A.M. a worried glance. "Miss? Is something wrong?"

The girl on the bench didn't respond, just shook her head; it was nearly imperceptible (wanted to use that word for a while) unless you were watching for that.

She smiled a little. "I believe it's the eighth house, once you head straight and take the first turn to the right... Um... Has some flowers by the lawn, if- if that helps."

(Let me guess -- all the houses on the street have flowers. Hehe.)

(I could imagine Pan saying something like that, actually.)

"It might." She smiled and held out her hand. "Lillian Young; I'm going to be helping them pay the rent for a little while. Do you live in the area?"
He frowned slightly and pushed his glasses up his nose. "Aren't you cold? Autumn won't last much longer, you know; you ought to wear something a bit heavier than...well, that."

"N-not really." She didn't make any eye contact.

The freckled woman hesitated to shake her hand, but did so. "P-Pan Wood. I live nearby..." "April Pierce. Y'all can call me Athena, though, everyone does. Ah don't even know why... Ah'm roommates with Pan."
(Pretty sure I didn't use 'y'all' in the right context, but never mind...)

"Call me Lily. It's a pleasure to meet you both." Lillian nodded, smile widening. "And I assure you, I'm more like my brother than my sister."
"Yes, really." He searched his pockets for a minute, before taking off his coat with a slight shiver. The stranger held it out to her, smiling. "Here."
