(FFFUUU This is long XD Sorry guys D: I feel bad for making you read all of this)
I almost caught him, but holding Skipper in my other hand made it hard to catch him. Instead, I only broke his fall. "AAAAH!" he yelped, closing his eye. He fell into Shadow's hand, but fell to the ground, rolling across. "...Ow..." he flinched, and looked up at us with a look of annoyance. "You didn't cat me..." I frowned, "Well, at least we broke your fall." I picked him up by one of his handles, and together my commrades and I walked towards the lift. There was a place to manually attach him within the elevator, which made me greatful we didn't have to leave him to die. We just met the guy anyways...
I plugged him in, and the three of us plus Skipper crammed into the elevator. "Uh... hold on. Gotta get through this firewall first and.... I'm in." Soon the elevator started moving quickly upwards. I heard a bang from below us, which told me that we had made it out just in time. Thank god...
"You're lucky I found you," the core grumbled, "I guess Wheatley was trying to clean out the old ruins down there, and didn't know that you three existed down there. That moron..." the core kept rambling on as we kept heading up, untill we stopped at a small area. "Ah... this is... as far as the elevator goes I guess. Good news: You have reached Wheatley's part of the facility and you are out of the old Aperture rooms. Bad news: This is a test room, so in order to get out, you'll need to test. Shouldn't be too bad."
"U-um... question." I looked at him nervously, "How do I complete the tests without a portal gun?" He stared at me in confusion. "Odd. I thought they would have equipped you with one by now... No matter. Go on ahead, past a few testing rooms. There should be a dual portal devise up ahead. Until then, you'll have to follow your colleges through the portals."
Skipper clicked a few times. "When life gives you lemons, don't make lemonade.... throw them back... get maaad" I almost yelped in surprise at its voice. The core looked as surprised as me. "That defect was given a vocabulary chip... Thats different... Hey... why are you carrying one with you anyways? Do you have brain damage or something? Turrets=BAAAAAAAAAAAAAAD." The core scolded me and I rolled my eyes. "Oh shuttup. He helped us get out of there, so I'm not letting him go yet."
"Whatever... unplug me and take me with you please..." I unplugged the core, and then turned to the others.
"Well, you ready?"

Holding the core by one of its handles, I started walking out of the room with my team. All six of us (yes, I am including the bots) stared at the room. "Ah... Wheatley Labs... You know, I think this place is better off with Wheatley. At least he's calm enough to not go crazy and go killing all the subjects... accept for Chell in particular... but that was only because of some of GLaDOS's intentions were still stored in the main frame..." GLaDOS... the name seems familiar... I think I'll ask about it later...
We kept walking, until we came upon a bog button, and a box in the corner.

A door opens thanks to the button. "Well... that was easy."
"That was mearly a warm-up for the tests to come. Don't get too cocky," the core said, rolling his eye. "Well then," I snorted. Skipper seemed to chuckle... only it wasn't like a human chuckle.... who knows...
We continued with the tests, each one a little bit harder than the previous. I was starting to get used to the fact that going through the portals my friends made brought me to another point of the room depending on which colored portal was placed where.
The core told stories and rumors of the past controller of the facility GLaDOS to pass the time, each time I heard her name, I felt I knew her. Once in a while I would get dizzy and get a headache, followed by quick flash backs, and I did not welcome them. Most of them were filled with words, silhouettes and past events that flashed by too fast to see them clearly.
Soon we came upon a room with a small portal devise in the middle, lye out on the floor. Once we reached it, I looked down at it. "Thats it," he stated, "thats the devise I was talking about. Well, go on, try it out." I passed the core to theworldlies (forgot your character's name. Sorry.) to hold and put the portal devise in my hand. I shot a blue portal on a wall, then an orange one right next to it. "...Wicked," I exclaimed, looking at the new weapon that I had acquired.

(XD No problem, it's Nevada)
Staring at the core that was passed into my hands while Margo was admiring her newly received gun. None of us were properly introduced to each other and I still burnt with curiosity of what type of core he was, knowing that there were different ones like Sybil, the Contemplation Core I acquainted earlier before the fall. (Yep, one of my OC cores. I hope you don't mind me including it in here...)
"Uhm...." I started, getting the core's attention away whilst Margo tested out the portals. "I don't think we know your name or what your purpose is...I'm Nevada Chen. You don't happen to know Sybil, do you?"

I turned to the core, looking him over. The core paused, then nodded. "I think I've heard that name before..." I walked towards the others, slipping my gloves back on. "Hmm... Well, I don't think I know anyone's name here either... I'm Margo by the way. Nice to meet you Mr. core thingy... Oh, and this is Skipper." I pointed towards the turrret, who was busying itself by humming a tune I did not recognise."
"Ah... I see. I'm Bradley. I'm the Tactics Core (Lol character developement. I'll warn y'all if his name changes)."

(Changed his name to Bradley.)
"...And you? I don't think I know your name?" I turn to my other ally curiously.

"Me? Oh, Nevada!" I looked around wondering if she was actually speaking to me. "I thought I said something earlier...unless you aren't talking to me...wait....I'm confusing myself...this is embarrassing."
(It actually is, because I AM confused. Sorry!)

(your character never really stated her name XD)
Bradly nodded. "Good name, nice social hour, now lets go! Um... You guys are wanting to escape... right?" I shrugged. "I'm... not sure. I'm curious to see if Wheatley has any data on my past life. I... have amnesia... I think.... Sometimes I get flashbacks when going through test chambers... but still... but escaping is also on my list of things to get done..."
Skipper started to chirp urgently, and soon enough, doors started to open to reveal fully functional turrets. "I see you!" on called."Ack!" yowled Bradley, "I didn't know this was a turret chamber. Head for cover!" Grabbimg Skipper, and leaving Bradley in Nevada's arms, I ran towards the only cover I could find. A large bar od steal that had probably been a support beam for the roof. I rolled over towards it and hid behind it, closing my eyes. "I-I didn't know that not all turrets were as nice as Skipper!" Bradley rolled his eye. "Well now you know."

I dropped down low and jumped clumsily behind a free wall. Gripping Bradley and waiting for awhile, I heard a "Target Lost" and a "Where I you??" with a "Are you still there?" Arrrgh, I really hate these turrets...their voices are nowhere near their functions.
"Heey, Brad..." I whispered quite angrily. "Start coming up with a plan!! I thought you were the TACTICS CORE, dammit!" (<---Very bad temper) As I demanded it, I looked around and realized there was a white panel in front of me. I quickly peeped my head around the wall and saw another panel on the ceiling just behind the horde of turrets.
"Okay....I'm not sure if you guys will approve of this plan...but it's the only shot...I think..."
I shot an orange portal in front of me, and another on the ceiling panel. The orange portal revealed a birds eye view of the turrets. Turning to Bradley, I looked at him with an apologetic smile. "Work with me and then you'll understand why. Please?"

Bradley paused, and nodded. "I see what you're going with this. Alright. Lets do this." I looked at the pair in wonder. "But they'll shoot you if you get too close." Skipper beeped, and then shot a lazer out from its eye. The range was about a 180 degree angle, staying mainly in a 45 to 60 degree angle in front of him Then I understood. "Ohh.... so they can't see you if you go from behind." Skipper beeped twice in reply. I was beginning to learn that two clicks or beeps meant yes, and one meant no. Man.... Skipper really was different.
I nodded. "Go ahead you two. Just... be careful..."
