Bradley shivered. "Hey! Shadow. Lets go lets go lets go! I prefer not to be exlpoded to nothing but scraps of metal. I have a plan for you. Use those perfectly good human legs of yours and get us out of here!" He was frantic, his eyeball shrinked to small dot.
Oh yeah... I almost forgot Shadow had Bradley with her. "C'mon Shadow! Hurry!"
Suddenly Skipper started clicking. It clicked four times rapidly, which usually meant he wanted to be put down. I quickly put him down, aiming him at the huge turret. "Hey! Ugly!" Skipper shouted. My eyes widened. Skipper usually doesn't say much.
"Eh?" The turret looked around, but could not find the source of the sound. "Ugly and dumb. Guess what? You don't get any cake." Skipper's laser shot out, pointed straight at the large turret. Man, he's brave!
The "super-sized" turret obviously felt the laser at its back, and paused for a minute. "Target locked..." murmured Skipper, and soon he started shooting rapidly at the large turret, attempting to distract him.

My eyes widen as I saw the little turret shoot without fear. Wow, this is a real hero. Using this distraction as a time-booster, I look around to see what could be used to knock over this fat-arsed turret. I spotted a weighted cube a few steps away from the elevator, close to Margo.
"Margo!! Hurry!! Get that cube and throw it at it!!" I yell over the shooting.

Bradley kept his orb shut. "Hurry Margo! I don't think this turret will be distracted for long!" I nodded, running towards the cube. Using the 'Pick Up' sort of feature that came with this portal gun, I grabbed the cube and threw it with not hesitation at the turret. "Ahhhhhh!" it screamed, then fell limply to the floor, shooting wildly but thankfully missing us all in its frenzy. "Thank god," I murmured. Skipper clicked with relief, and its laser disappeared. The arms on its side closed, and that was it. "Fwew.... are you two ok?" I looked down at them.
Bradley opened his eye and nodded. "We're ok."

I moved my jaw to get my ears popped from the pressure of noise. "Wow, that was a close call...Good job with the cube, Margo." I waited for Shadow and Margo to enter the elevator before it automatically closed and some sort of access panel revealed itself behind me.
"Is this the last elevator to...uh...Wheatley's lair?"

Bradley looked it over, looking up and around. "ugh.... you are sadly correct.... and if I am plugged in there... well... we wouldn't wanna turn on any of these levers. Hm... I guess we... have no choice...." I looked at him with a confused look on my face. "Margo does not follow," I grumbled.
Bradley rolled his eyes. "You really need that head injury of yours checked. Apparently all that time in the relaxation vault did not do you any justice." I blinked in surprise. "Wait what? You know about my background?" Bradley seemed to shrug. "Not really... sorry... its just a mandatory protocol that all personnel containing serious and fatal injuries are to be put to sleep in the relaxation chambers for a given amount of time to recover." All these words were giving me a headache. "Oh..."
Bradley looked around. "Oookay. Well humans. Pick what you want. To Wheatley's lair, or find a way out of the elevator and take another way...?"

I considered this for a moment. "If we tried to a find a way out, we could running around for ages. It's not as if we know this place off by heart...I say Wheatley's place...Besides, I need a word with him."

I nodded. "I wanted to ask him if he knows anything about my past anyways..." Skipper clicked, as if to say he had our backs. I nodded and turned to Bradley. "Why don't you do the honors?" With a nod to my friend, I picked up Bradley myself, plugging him into the elevator access pannel. Right away he got to work.
"Alright..." He paused, and a quiet buzzing was heard. "Just going through the information stacked in here to make sure I know what controls to access. I would be a moron if I was to just push random controls! Hah!" I chuckled. After a few minutes of hesitation, he nodded. "Right... I got it...." The sides of the lift came in, so that they were not against the controls. Most of them were already pulled down anyways, but I know Bradley just wanted to be on the safe side.
"And this... makes the lift go up." Slowly, the lift started to rise, and soon a view of 'His' layer came in view. "Now, when you talk to him be careful. He's a bit corrupted these days because of his addiction to testing... the rest of the functional cores and I have been trying to slowly help him with his problems but no ones perfect. He will most likely try to kill you but I'm sure we have no worries!"
Closer and closer the ending cam into view. I took a big breath, clutched Skipper a little tighter, and prayed to whats-his-name that we would be ok.

..."He will most likely try to kill you?!" You say that as if we're sipping on coconut juice on the beach." I commented rather grouchily. I prepped my portal gun, wishing that it came with actual bullets. I wasn't ready to die yet. If I was going to die...There was a few things I needed to clear up with the CEO of the building. I noticed Margo looked like she was praying and I looked up at the up-coming ceiling to do the same. Help us, oh any deity who exists...

The lift stopped. End Of Line.... we stepped off the lift, and I looked timidly at the large robot thingy that was in front of us. He seemed to be surprised that we were here. "Hey! You tests subjects shouldn't be here! You should be testing those lovely Portal devises you have there, so I can watch. Because I love to test." Bradley rolled his eye and whispered. "He says that as if he's the one testing..."
I cleared my throat. "My friends and I want our freedom, and we want information. Pronto." Wheatley just stared. "Whoah whoah! No one tells big Wheatley what to do. I'm the boss here, not you!" At that moment, panels from the wall started to open to reveal turrets... turrets everywhere.... Crap... bad move.
"Now look what you've done! I told you to be careful... Look... we still have a chance.... core transfer. I know Wheatley, and I know he's too much of a moron to listen to reason..."
The turrets started to chirp. "Target locked... I see you... There you are...!" Skipper started to chirp with nervousness. "U-uh.... BRADLEY... Say something!" I screamed, running behind the shelter of a tube with a white liquid running through it. Bradley looked left in right, still plugged into the lift. "Hey! Wh-what am I supposed to say?!"
"Bradley? You're working with those smelly humans?! You little traitor!" Wheatley growled. Bradley sighed. "If only Sybil was here...."

Cursing at the situation, I hid behind the lift, out of Wheatley's and the turrets' peripheral vision. Hearing Bradley's comment, I couldn't help but agree wholeheartedly. Sybil would know what to do. She helped me through to getting as far as when I met the others. She was paranoid with what the Boss would do and apologized so much that if cores could cry, she'd be flooding whilst thinking about whatever she'd think about.
Sybil would probably be with the manufacturing robots, considering designs and such. She mentioned something of her job assisting them.
"Please, Sir Wheatley! Have mercy!" I exclaimed, distracting Wheatley from giving the order to fire. I needed to diverse a new plan. "Margo was lying. She's always been a trouble-maker!" I shot an apologetic look towards her hoping she new what I was getting at. "We don't want to get out! We love testing with you!" I forced out, screwing my face in disgust. I lowered my voice so that only Bradley could hear. "Brad, is there a communication access in that panel you're in??"

Catching her apologetic glance told me that she was onto something. "Act along Margo," she seemed to say without words. "Y-yeah! We love testing... Science is amazing... yay..." I can already tell I must have been a very bad actor.... and I squinted, hoping Wheatley would buy it. "Oh. In that case..." the panels closed, sealing the turrets within the walls.
"You better get back to testing then." I tried to keep my sigh of relief from spilling out. Bradley was right... he is a moron. "Theres this new test that I created, and I need you two(three... I don't know if Shadow is RPign anymore..? o.O) to get to it."
Bradley nodded slightly, just enough for the others to catch it. He whispered quietly, "Yeah... why?"

I kept quiet, watching Wheatley's every move in case this conversation took a turn for the worse. Bradley whispered to us so Wheatley could not hear, most likely trying to get our say on this manner before he came up with his already established plan. "If only a paradox could work on this guy... but he's not bright enough to start thinking about it and try to think logically..."

"Brad..." I continued quietly, seizing the moment. "See if you can communicate to the Manufacturing level for Sybil. She can help us out." I peeked to see the turrets disappear beyond the panels and said loudly. "Wheatley sir, don't you want to know why we are up here?!" I gave Brad an urgent look to get him to hurry. We couldn't distract the Boss for long.
