Savannah shrugged. "You should go into sleep mode, little core."
He seemed a bit uneasy at the thought of it, but he made a nodding motion.
She reached to the back of the core and put him into sleep mode. His optic darkened and his shudders slid shut.
"There you go." She read some of the manual.

The core's optic opened and was a light green once more.
"Ahh... Wha-what happened?" The core's optic shrank. "OHGODHUMANS!" It jumped back from where he was standing and tumbled backwards.
