She smiled and nodded, moving towards the kitchen. "Right away. Blue, keep an eye on them?"
The younger woman had come down to see what all the commotion was about, and now stood, staring, in the door to the hall.

"Blue," she corrected automatically, "or Cornflower, if you must have something formal. What are you doing here, Teach?!" The sheer amount of shock and indigence in her voice was almost comical.

He motioned towards the girl on the sofa. "She was wandering around the park without any shoes."

The girl sighed, running on and through her hair, and suddenly her usual grin was in place. It was like a switch hd been flicked, and she wasn't going to car about those problems anymore. "Well, I'm sure it'l be fine; Lily actually is a doctor, you know~"

The woman in question came in, and handed both A.M. and Pendleton mugs of hot chocolate. "You should warm up a little yourself," she told him, "It's still chilly, and you're not wearing a coat. A.M., when you finish that, can you tell me whether anything hurts, and what kind of pain it is?"
